The Richland Parish School Board is currently accepting applications for:
Master Teacher
(Applicant pool may be used to fill upcoming 2026-27 vacancies)
Applicant must have at minimum:
- Type A/Level 2 Louisiana Teaching Certificate required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with administrators to align instructional practices with district goals.
- Provide instructional coaching and professional development to teachers.
- Co-teach weekly at each assigned site and plan and teach at minimum one full lesson each week.
- Analyze student data to inform and enhance instructional support.
Position Details:
- This is a 9-month position with an optional 10th month.
- All Master Teacher offers are for one academic year and assignment(s) will be made by the district instructional leadership team in following areas:
- Master Teacher (Literacy)
- Master Teacher (Math)
- Master Teacher (School-level)
Work Sample Requirement:
To be considered for an interview, candidates must submit a classroom instructional video and corresponding lesson annotations and/or plan demonstrating your ability to plan and deliver effective instruction in implementing high-quality instructional materials, aligned with the Louisiana Educator Rubric.
