The Richland Parish School Board is currently accepting applications for:

Master Teacher

(Applicant pool may be used to fill upcoming 2026-27 vacancies)

Applicant must have at minimum:

  • Type A/Level 2 Louisiana Teaching Certificate required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with administrators to align instructional practices with district goals.
  • Provide instructional coaching and professional development to teachers.
  • Co-teach weekly at each assigned site and plan and teach at minimum one full lesson each week.
  • Analyze student data to inform and enhance instructional support.

Position Details:

  • This is a 9-month position with an optional 10th month.
  • All Master Teacher offers are for one academic year and assignment(s) will be made by the district instructional leadership team in following areas:
    • Master Teacher (Literacy)
    • Master Teacher (Math)
    • Master Teacher (School-level)

Work Sample Requirement:

To be considered for an interview, candidates must submit a classroom instructional video and corresponding lesson annotations and/or plan demonstrating your ability to plan and deliver effective instruction in implementing high-quality instructional materials, aligned with the Louisiana Educator Rubric.
