The Richland Parish School Board is accepting applications to establish applicant pools for Custodian, Lunchroom Technician, and Paraprofessional positions for the 2026-2027 school year. Applications will be considered for current vacancies, substitute assignments, and future vacancies as they become available. Current Paraprofessional vacancies are limited.

CUSTODIAN

Applicant must have at minimum:

  • High School Diploma, GED/HiSET equivalent or,
  • Satisfactory score on Achievement Test (to be administered no later than 4:00P.M. on July 10, 2026)

LUNCHROOM TECHNICIAN

Applicant must have at minimum:

  • High School Diploma, GED/HiSET equivalent or,
  • Satisfactory score on Achievement Test (to be administered no later than 4:00P.M. on July 10, 2026)

PARAPROFESSIONAL assignments based on student need

Application must have at minimum:

  • High School Diploma, GED/HiSET equivalent or,
  • “Highly qualified” as set by LDE; Parapro score of 450+ or two year associate degree from accredited college/university that meets educational requirements

Applicant must have at minimum:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

*Eligibility is verified by official transcript with the date degree conferred.

Teaching experience is preferred.
