The Richland Parish School Board is currently accepting applications for:

LEAD INSTRUCTIONAL COACH
(Applicant pool may be used to fill upcoming 2024-2025 vacancies)

Applicant must have at minimum:

  • Louisiana Teacher’s Certificate
  • Two to three years of successful classroom teaching experience

**Previous mid-level leader (i.e., mentor teacher, content leader, etc.) experience in-district is preferred

***District priorities for the 24-25 school year include: early childhood, secondary ELA, and secondary Math

The Richland Parish School Board is currently accepting applications for:

ACADEMICALLY GIFTED TEACHER

Applicant must have at minimum:

  • Individuals holding a valid early childhood certificate, elementary certificate, upper elementary or middle school certificate, special education certificate, or an All-Level K-12 certificate
  • master’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education

Enrolled and working toward the following:

  • Fifteen graduate semester hours of prescribed coursework from the following list, either within a master’s degree or as an add-on to an existing master’s degree.
    • characteristics/study of gifted individuals
    • methods of teaching the gifted
    • social and emotional needs of the gifted
    • creative thinking and problem solving or curriculum development for the gifted
    • educational technology
  • Three semester hours in a practicum for academically gifted; or an internship for college credit in academically gifted, or three years of successful teaching experience in academically gifted.

**Visual arts experience and full certification is preferred.

AGRICULTURE TEACHER ASSIGNED TO RAYVILLE HIGH SCHOOL

Applicant must have at minimum:

  • Louisiana teaching certificate with Agriculture 6-12 certification

** FFA experience is preferred.

GUIDANCE COUNSELOR ASSIGNED TO DELHI HIGH SCHOOL

Applicant must have at minimum:

  • Louisiana teaching certificate with Counselor K-12 certification or,
  • Meet eligibility requirements as stated in BESE Bulletin 746 for Counselor K-12
