The Richland Parish School Board is currently accepting applications for:
SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER
Applicant must have at minimum:
- Individuals holding a valid early childhood certificate in PK-K or PK-3, elementary certificate; upper elementary, middle school certificate, or secondary certificate
Enroll in a special education add-on program prior to the start of the 24.25 academic year or enrolled and working toward the following semester hours required to add-on special education certification:
- Assessment and Evaluation
- Fundamentals of Instructional Technology
- Behavior support and Intervention
- Collaborative Teaching
- Self-Determination and Transition (only required for middle and secondary add-on)
- Instructional Practices in Special Education
- Reading and Literacy
JAG (Jobs for America’s Graduates) TEACHER
Applicant must have at minimum:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Three years of work place experience (i.e., any non-teaching work experience) within the last five years
