Superintendent's Message

Thank you for your interest in the Richland Parish School System. As superintendent, I am humbled and honored to have an opportunity to serve our district in this leadership capacity. I have high expectations for our entire school community. All children in our schools can learn. We are comprised of five elementary schools, three junior high schools, three high schools, and one career center. Our schools will provide a learning environment that is safe for all involved as well as conducive to student learning and job-embedded staff development. I value the thoughts and opinions of students, parents, teachers, staff, administrators, supervisors, and our greater school community. It is my greatest hope that we will work collaboratively to develop positive relationships and improve student achievement. New challenges lie ahead for our system. Our commitment to research based strategies and best practices will ensure our future success. As a school community, we will provide all students with an opportunity to receive a world-class 21st century education.
