These laws ensure that every student is evaluated fairly, accurately, and in a timely manner, using procedures designed to identify educational needs and determine appropriate services. If you have concerns about your child\u2019s progress, you may request a conference with the teacher using the form below. After this meeting, you may choose to refer your child to the School Building Level Committee (SBLC), a team that works together to identify supports and interventions.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through our Child Find process, the district also provides free referral and information services for children from birth through age 21 who may have learning, developmental, behavioral, communication, sensory, or motor needs, as well as those who show advanced academic ability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you believe your child may benefit from these services, or if you need help navigating the process, please contact the Special Education Department or the Pupil Appraisal Office at 318-728-5964.
