You are a vital part of our school\u2019s success whether it is through helping your child with homework or supporting them in their learning and extra-curricular activities.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/em>We ask that you please review this handbook with your child and\/or children. Mangham Elementary School and the Richland Parish School Board have teamed together to create a handbook that is inclusive of the many policies and procedures that are important to you as a parent. Other policies that are not included in the handbook are available at our school or the Richland Parish School Board office, or online at richland.k12.la.us. A copy of the<\/em> Mangham Elementary School-Parent Compact should be signed<\/em><\/strong> <\/em>and kept on file at the school<\/em><\/strong>. Your signature will indicate that you have received and reviewed this handbook with your child and understand all of the policies and procedures.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n I consider it an honor to serve as Principal of Mangham Elementary.\u00a0 Our school has a rich tradition of providing both a strong academic foundation for our children as well as a safe, caring atmosphere in which to learn.\u00a0 It is with pride that I tell you that my own daughter went through our school as well as many of our current teacher\u2019s children<\/em>. Our faculty and staff are committed to doing all we can each day to see that our students reach their highest potential.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Mangham Elementary School serves approximately 420 students in Preschool through 5th grade. Our success as a school is based on having a highly qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty along with a high degree of parent and community support. We are dedicated to having a well-disciplined student body with an interest in each student\u2019s academic achievement. We have a variety of programs to meet our student\u2019s needs and hold all to the high standards of teaching and learning<\/em>. <\/em>The success of a school can be greatly enhanced by positive support from parents and guardians.
