The beginning of the school year schedule is as follows:
- Thursday, August 4th: Bus Driver Orientation 7 a.m. – 11 a.m.
- Monday, August 8th: New Teacher Orientation 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
- Thursday, August 11th: School Opens – All Employees Report
- Thursday, August 11th: General Assembly – TBD
- Thursday, August 11th – Friday, August 12th: Staff Development Day
- Monday, August 15th: First Day for Students
- Monday, September 5th: Labor Day – No School
- Tuesday, September 30th: Parent/Teacher Conference Day
*During its April 2022 Regular Session, the Richland Parish School Board approved a 2022-2023 School Calendar implementing a five day face-to-face school week.
