Item 11 Budgetary Cuts as follows:
RPSB 2015-16 PRELIMINARY GENERAL FUNDS BUDGETARY CUTS
2015-16 Reduction to MFP Funding = Approximately $2.043 million
1. Implement 20:1 Student Teacher Ratio for Regular Education Classrooms to eliminate (21) Teacher positions. COST EFFECT: $1,365,000 savings
2. Eliminate (5) Special Education Teacher positions. COST EFFECT: $325,000 savings
3. Eliminate (7.5) Paraprofessional positions. COST EFFECT: $262,500 savings
4. Eliminate (.75) Special Education/Pupil Appraisal Secretary position. COST EFFECT: $26,250 savings
5. Combine Special Education class at Delhi High School and Rayville High School to eliminate (1) Special Education Teacher position. COST EFFECT: $65,000 savings
